Requirements
Title page
Use a concise title that clearly and accurately gives the topic of the report
Give your name, student number, course title, course code, teacher’s title, teacher's name, date of submission. Include the College banner. The title page is not numbered.
Introduction
General information about the issue and why it is important. Definition of terms. A brief explanation of what the research essay is going to focus on. The basic research question, research hypothesis, research objectives, and thesis statement. An introduction should tell exactly what your research essay is about and how it is structured.
Chapter 1. You must write the title of the chapter.
Facts and figures.
Where is this happening? Why is it happening?
Explain the issue or situation, its causes, and effects.
Provide specific basic facts about the issue or the situation.
Include tables of facts or information.
Include pictures, diagrams to illustrate the topic.
Chapter 2. You must write the title of the chapter.
How is the issue important? Explain the impact of this issue/situation on the world or the part of the world it affects most.
Explain the impact of this issue in your country; describe the situation.
Solutions? What is happening around the world and in your country to change this situation? Give facts and details.
Conclusion
Give clear, logical, brief conclusions and solutions. Explain some basic issues. Give your recommendations. A good conclusion should bring together different sections of your essay.
References
In the text, APA referencing must be given for quotes and paraphrases. All sources must be included on a reference list (works cited) page (in APA style) at the end of the essay; be sure you understand APA style and include complete source information, use the correct format for each item, and use alphabetical order.
